After a successful collection launch night celebrating the arrival of Galia Lahav Haute Couture and GALA by Galia Lahav's newest spring/summer 2023 bridal dresses in Sydney, Eternal bridal has taken the much loved 'Rise' and 'Shine' collection to the artistic Australian city of Melbourne. There, the exquisite bridal collection is captured, in both photos and video, by the talented bridal photography team T-one Image and, later, presented to the excited Galia Lahav bride-to-bes in an all-exclusive evening showcase at the Langham Melbourne. Here is a peek into the photoshoot and showcase.

On an early Thursday morning, with soft rays of sunlight flowing through the down-to-floor french windows, a room at the Langham Hotel is humming with excitement. In one corner is an extensive makeup collection on a table and some beauty lighting set-up on standby. At the same time, on another, rows of the most spectacular ivory wedding gowns hang on a metal rail, delicately reflecting the daylight. A soft knock on the door signals the arrival of the photoshoot models and sets the room a buzz with activity.

Back in the room, Melbourne-based makeup artist Mon B Makeup and hair stylist Boda Hair Boutique are working their magic on the last of the models. At the same time, our Eternal Bridal Senior stylist Lyndell helps the models get into their first bridal looks for the day. After one final check and the arrival of the T-One photography and videography team, a jam-packed creative day starts.

Eternal-bridal-galia-lahav-rise-and-shine-melbourne-launch-show-6First up is the setting of Langham Melbourne's lobby. The modern french style interior perfectly complements the dramatic, sparkling ball gowns of the 'Rise' and 'Shine' collections. With our creative teams head over heels in love with the hotel's elegance, the photo shoot would not be complete without an iconic grand staircase look. At Eternal Bridal, we wanted to show brides that all wedding dress silhouettes can be paired with a grand staircase, whether a ballgown, A-line, or even a fit and flare wedding gown, as long as a bride dares to dream it. As long as your dress has a dramatic element - long lace train, embellished bolero, sheer bell sleeves, wide skirt, like these Galia Lahav dresses, then the bride won't be upstaged by the large stairs.

Our second photo shoot setting is the Alto Room of Langham Melbourne to pay homage to the iconic Melbourne city skyline. In contrast to the intricate french style of the first set, we wanted to capture a modern and city chic side of these Galia Lahav 'Rise' and 'Shine' collections and showcase the malleability of this wedding dress collection. The fashion house head designers Galia Lahav and Sharon Server always design to celebrate the many facets of the modern bride. Our creative team at Eternal Bridal aims to stay true to the designer's artistic intention with this photoshoot.

As the day rolls on, in another part of Langham Melbourne, members of our Eternal Bridal Styling team are getting dresses and bridal looks ready for the evening's showcase event. Simultaneously, the creative teams at Abracadabra Weddings & Events and Pro Light and Sound are setting up stages and laying out decadent bunches of roses with candles to create the romantic wonderland bride-to-bes dream of.

All the frantic motion is put on pause as the evening nears, marking the calm before the storm of excitement for the launch of this highly anticipated Galia Lahav collection in Melbourne. The opening of the venue doors marks the arrival of the first VIP guest of the night, what followed was a night of animated discussions on which dress was who's favourite, delicious canapés, lively music played by That DJ Australia and free-flowing celebratory champagne.

The Galia Lahav 'Rise' wedding dress collection was crafted to be "Like a sunrise greeting the day", to encourage brides to "restart and refresh during this season of renewal" as if they are the most arresting bloom in a spring garden. The Shine collection was designed to contrast the void of playful, sparkling energy that was the hangover from covid restrictions. Head designers Galia Lahav and Sharon Sever have bundled the glitz and glamour of a glorious party to create a collection that explores an array of youthful silhouettes and iridescent features. Playing true to its name, the collective dresses will make any bride "Rise" and "Shine" on her special day.

Just like this stunning couture wedding dress collection, our Eternal Bridal Galia Lahav Melbourne Showcase marks the revival of Melbourne's bridal industry after two long years of the covid pandemic. This night was a celebration with the best talents of the bridal industry, the media and many beautiful Galia Lahav bride-to-bes.
