The lights dim. The music starts. The face of Galia Lahav Haute Couture, Katharina Linke, floats down the catwalk on a cloud of blush tulle, officially marking the launch of Galia Lahav Haute Couture’s newest collection in Australia exclusively for Eternal Bridal.
Held at the sumptuous Langham Hotel, the night saw an incredible catwalk premiere of the ‘Les Rêves Bohémiens’ collection, followed by a behind-the-scenes video tour of Galia Lahav HQ; a presentation by brand representative for Galia Lahav in the US and face of the label, Katharina Linke; and an exclusive Q&A with Galia Lahav herself.
Drawing inspiration from the fairy tales of old, this season Galia Lahav has taken every little girl’s favourite princess and turned her into the ultimate wedding dress. Opulent, romantic, and a little bit mischievous, ‘Les Rêves Bohémiens’ sees Galia’s trademark plunging backs, intricate embellishment, and slinky skirts reach new heights with pops of colour, masterful corsetry, and enchanting tulle skirts worthy of our favourite damsels in distress.
The unprecedented event attracted wedding and bridal influencers from around the nation. Prestigious guests included legendary fashion stylist and founder of BrideMinded Pam Petherbridge, prominent wedding and event stylist Diane Khoury, and influencers from every bride’s favourite bridal blog, Wedded Wonderland. Headwear queen Viktoria Novak, whose stunning crowns completed the regal looks on the night, was also an honoured guest.
Coinciding with this catwalk event were Eternal Bridal’s unprecedented VIP trunk shows across both Melbourne and Sydney, which saw the largest collection of Galia Lahav Haute Couture wedding dresses ever assembled in the country available to view and try on. Lucky brides had the opportunity to try on styles from both current and previous seasons under the guiding hand of the lovely Katharina, who travelled to Australia with the new collection exclusively for Eternal Bridal.
Eternal Bridal looks forward to hosting their next Galia Lahav Haute Couture trunk show in early 2016.
