New York Bridal Market saw the launch of Chic Nostalgia’s newest bridal collection for 2019. Founded a decade ago, by bridal designer Amber He, Chic Nostalgia was established with the aim to fulfil every bride's wish to have a dress which is timelessly beautiful with the feel of luxury without the splurging price tag. Their signature style of elegantly bohemian wedding dresses in classic silhouettes with soft lace, hand-beading details and delicate fabrics have since been seen in bridal markets internationally.
Titled 'Love Captured', the collection draws inspiration from "The Goddess of the Hunt who owns and protects the wildness". With the wedding dresses set in a series of lush green forest backdrops along rocky and leafy carpets, this bridal series evokes the mood of a whimsical woodland fairy-tale where the most beautiful celestial beings inside live to protect their home with fierce love and passion.
A-line and Fit-and-Flare silhouettes are the dominant shapes of this season with Chic Nostalgia's signature use of soft lace and tulle prominent throughout the collection. Amber He, has explored a few outstanding design features in this wedding dress series by drawing inspiration from fashion trends of this season like flared sleeves, halter neck, cut-outs, unembellished fabrics and ankle length hemline.
Chic Nostalgia has been part of our Eternal Bridal Designers since 2018 with their 'Secret Love' being launched at an Eternal Bridal Trunk show in Sydney, The Strand Arcade boutique. The arrival of Chic Nostalgia has allowed Eternal Bridal to cater to our bride's wishes for a more relaxed and bohemian style of wedding dresses.
