ST KILDA FESTIVAL WEDDING SPONSORED BY ETERNAL BRIDAL
Posted by Eternal Bridal Admin onWedding date: Sunday 14th February 2016
Last Valentine’s Day, Liz was getting ready to marry her long-time fiance – in front of thousands of people!
In a special St Kilda Festival event, the lucky couple were chosen to be married on the main stage, in a celebration of the festival falling on Valentine’s Day that year.
It was the perfect opportunity for Liz and Sam to tie the knot. The couple were childhood sweethearts, and quickly made plans to be married when they were in their early 20s. However, the birth of their son made the couple postpone the wedding, and soon it became clear that the pair now couldn’t afford the big day they had dreamed of. Four years later, and Liz and Sam were still engaged, but had never married.
Once selected by the volunteer celebrant, Kelly Rossi, Liz and Sam had only 16 days to plan their dream wedding.
“We sent out emails calling for any vendors who would be interested in helping us and we were inundated with offers from bridal boutiques, photographers, hair and make-up artists, candy buffets creators, stationery designers, bakers, florists… the list goes on!
Sam and I were overwhelmed with the kindness of everyone that came forward to make our day one to remember. Everything came together so perfectly, like it was meant to be! Suddenly planning a wedding in 16 days didn’t seem overwhelming; rather, it was a blessing in disguise.”
Eternal Bridal sponsored Liz with her Hayley Paige look, which was perfect for the fun-filled day in St Kilda.
