2019 New York Fashion Week saw the celebration of Badgley Mischka fashion brand in their 30th year of operation. Hailed as one of Vogue's 'Top 10 American Designers'; design duo Mark Badgley and James Mischka founded the label in 1988 with their first, rack of 10, red carpet dress collection which solidified a signature of classic, sophisticated glamour. From Madonna to Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna to Taylor Swift, Jennifer Garner to Julia Roberts, Kate Winslet to Sarah Jessica Parker, a reflection into designers' last three decades will show an extensive archive of celebrities who have graced red carpets wearing the most prominent of Badgley Mischka looks.

 

A carefully curated guest list, endless glasses of lightly bubbling champagne on small cocktail tables and canopies of moss contrasted against pillars of faux Alice-in-Wonderland styled trees kicked off the label's milestone runway show. The show acted as a launching pad for the label's first ever mummy-and-me collection, and Badgley Mischka eponymous Eau de parfum created in collaboration with renowned perfumer Richard Herpin.

 

"Yeah, we do it all now, but there is a thread of glamour through sort of everything we do," Badgley said. "We do home now. Even our teacups are glamorous, so as long as that is threaded through what we do, it works."

 

These new product additions will join the company's broad portfolio categories of red carpet wear, day wear, sportswear, homeware, fashion accessories, bridal accessories and bridal collections.

Badgley Mischka 2019 Bridal collection reveres V-neck lines and illusion high-necks. The symbolic expression of classic elegance and glamour is conveyed through their combined use of Alencon, Guipure, needle and embroidered lace with sprinkles of sparkles reflected from intricate beadwork or fine glitter tulle. Key stand out pieces from this collection are ball gowns, Cheryl and Carina.
